Snails galore!

Tonight I transplanted a couple of hundred snails into Holmes Lake.
Now my sucker-fish can get a little something to eat!

morning what?

I have never been much of a morning person. In fact, I've always been quite the opposite.
I am finding mornings are easier to enjoy when you are getting off work at 7:30 in the morning. So much to see. Especially now spring is here! I even found a cute little purple flower among my yellow flowers this morning! What a wonderful surprise! Now I am going to bed.

Look what I found!

I love nice weather--if for nothing else, for the ability to wear my sandals.
I tried to get these sandals re-soled last year, but they were too far gone to be fixed. So I bought a new pair. They are okay, but I still wear the old ones most of the time.

the woes of new furniture

I love my new sofa, couch, davenport...whatever you want to call it. But now I find again, I have furniture that will eat my remotes. It took me 5-10 minutes to find them today. Part of it is because I haven't had the TV on in 3 days (reading again! Yeah!), the other part is because the couch had devoured them. Ah well, I think it's worth it.

I know it's not a good photo, but it was already in my files. Plus, if anyone is wondering...yes, the pillows came with it. I didn't pick those out!
