ah-thank you abe

Today was the last day of the 2007 NSCLS State meeting. We were required to go for school. It was at Harrah's casino in Council Bluffs. As the first session ended I was faced with a delima. Attend another session right away? Or wander off (accidentally, of course) in the direction of the casino. Guess which one I picked. I should say, it really wasn't much of a delima. Here's my shout-out to the quarter slots! Hey-ay quarter slots! I'm going out tonight! Pretty sure that $25.95 makes me a high-roller. Maybe I'll go some placed fancy, like Kelly's Pub.
It was weird to be at the "professional" meeting. I'm sitting there eating my salad (not a great "free" lunch--where's the steak people? come on!) thinking...I don't see myself in this field for very long. Long enough to pay some bills and get out of Nebraska. I wonder if I've made a mistake? Eh, I already have one useless degree, what's one more...right? Right? Speaking of graduation, everyone keep your calendars clear June 9th. I'll be hosting a little get together to celebrate. There will be booze, bar-b-cue, and...more booze.
If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go spend my winnings. Maybe I'll buy some more friends. One can't have enough of those. More friends equal more presents for graduation...wait, what?
